Moleskine

Inspired by the traditional Japanese gyotaku technique, the art of imprinting natural elements with ink on paper. The process began with a series of handmade experiments, printing real flowers with ink to explore the unique character of each imprint. Rather than aiming for perfect reproductions, we embraced slight shifts and unexpected marks, while trying to preserve as much detail as possible.

The aim was to capture the fleeting beauty of sakura in bloom, transforming a brief and delicate moment in nature into something lasting. Delicate cherry blossom impressions, paired with subtle gold debossing, bring each cover to life and celebrate the beauty of impermanence.
