MATÍZ is led by the life and creative partnership of Fanny Le Bonniec and Alessandro Calogero.

Fanny Le Bonniec - Industrial designer and engineer, trained at UTC in France with a Master’s from the Scuola Politecnica di Design in Milan. After living and working in France, South Korea, Italy, and Spain, Fanny co-founded Sotano Studio in 2005. In 2019, driven by her love for fragrances, she decided to focus 100% on perfume design and rebranded the agency as MATÍZ, fueling her aspiration to craft the ideal zero-waste packaging solution, one that seamlessly merges luxury, aesthetics with sustainability.

Alessandro Calogero - Graduated with honors in industrial design from the Politecnico di Milano in 2001. Alessandro brings decades of international experience, having collaborated early on with renowned Milanese designers like Stefano Giovannoni, Guido Venturini, and Miriam Mirri, as well as the LG Design Center. He later directed the Roca Innovation Lab in Barcelona, co-founded CrousCalogero, and launched StudioCalógero. In 2022, he joined forces with Fanny to shape the next chapter of MATÍZ.
